Perform the Guard Pass
Step One:
Open your opponents ankles by placing one knee in his tailbone and applying pressure downwards and away from your opponent.
Step Two:
After pinning one of your opponents legs to the ground, bring your leg over it while trapping the thigh with a foot hook.
Step Three:
It is important to maintain good head control of your opponent at this time, while also removing your other leg from his guard.
Step Four:
Sit out towards your opponents head to completely remove yourself from his guard.
